Ep. 7 - How imposter syndrome impacts men

Billy Floyd

MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER | JOURNALIST

The imposter phenomenon has long been considered an issue among women, but there are now many studies that show men experience imposter syndrome too. The only difference is how they deal with it.

For Billy Floyd that means purposeful encouragement for himself and everyone around him.

Billy started his career as a broadcast journalist, taking after his father and grandfather’s footsteps. He would soon take off on his own to be the podcast host of "Who's On The News". He’s also broken into motivational speaking and the music business - he even freestyle raps motivational messages. You’ll often find him in New York driving around with his windows down - dishing out compliments!

Billy says his number one pet peeve is people not believing in themselves. His time in the media has given him a front row seat to how imposter syndrome impacts most people within the industry.
