She soon entered the corporate world of Public Relations in Beaumont, TX while also taking on an adjunct role for a local college.

Bre returned to television in 2013 when she moved to Idaho Falls, ID as a multimedia journalist and became the first African American to take on the role of news anchor in the state of Idaho. Bre shifted back to the news industry during the summer of 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic, to replaced the long-time main anchor for KIFI Local News 8. There she carried on her work for hard hitting stories by reporting the murder conspiracy of Lori Vallow-Daybell, gaining national recognition. She also collaborated with national correspondents in the death of Gabby Petito.
